St. John Paul II honored its widely diverse community with a special mass in honor of Mary, mother of Jesus. Our scholars took part in an opening procession with a rose to represent his or her special intention. Images of Mary represented many countries including Ecuador, Mexico, and Poland. At lunch, parents prepared and served an Ecuadoran meal, which included chicken with rice, salad and a special dessert. Many parents attended the mass and joined their children for lunch.
